Zum 1. Dezember 2011 tritt Dr. Rolf Kuropka als Geschäftsführer Marketing und Vertrieb in die KRAHN CHEMIE GmbH ein und übernimmt damit die Nachfolge von Dr. Jörg Schottek, der am 1. November 2011 zum Vorsitzenden der Geschäftsführung berufen wurde.
Together with Axel Sebbesse, Managing Director Finance and Administration, Dr. Rolf Kuropka will be in charge for the operative management of KRAHN CHEMIE. Dr. Jörg Schottek thereby keeps the overall responsibility for KRAHN CHEMIE GmbH within the OTTO KRAHN Group. Since July this year Dr. Schottek is in addition also in charge as CEO and Chairman of the Board of KRAHN CHEMIE´s sister company ALBIS PLASTIC GmbH.
The expansion of the Managing Board reinforces the strategic realignment and development of KRAHN CHEMIE, started in 2008.
“Dr. Rolf Kuropka is an internationally experienced manager who thinks and acts entrepreneurially. Our company will benefit from his extensive experiences and knowledge”, explains Dr. Jörg Schottek, CEO and Chairman of the Managing Board of KRAHN CHEMIE.
Dr. Rolf Kuropka is a doctor of chemistry and has long-standing backgrounds in Research, Sales and Marketing in the chemical industry. Most recently Dr. Kuropka was a member in the European and global management of Celanese.
