The ashless and zinc-based Additin® Packages (PA) meet the latest technological OEM and industry requirements and specifications. New low-sulfur base oils, in combination with optimized additive packages offer superior opportunities for improving performance in hydraulic, turbine and compressor oils. Highly efficient packages for low-friction slideway oils, greases, industrial gear oils and metalworking provide solu-tions for the strictest requirements.
The ashless and zinc-based additive packages provide outstanding performance in a variety of applications even at the lowest treat rates. With the newly developed ashless HLP-D package Additin® RC 9317, Rhein Chemie Additives sets a new standard in the industry.

Additin RC 9200 N

Additin RC 9200 N is a "low zinc" hydraulic fluid package offering outstanding antiwear corrosion protection and antioxidant characteristics at low treatment rates. Additin RC 9200 N can be used to formulate high performance hydraulic fluids with excellent thermal stability (according to Cincinnati Machine P-68/P-69/P-70 requirements), hydrolytic stability (according to ASTM-D 2619 HF-0 requirements) and filtration properties even when extremely fine filters are used (according to ISO 13357 part 1-wet and part 2-dry).

Additin RC 9205
Additin RC 9205 is a barium- and calcium-free hydraulic fluid package offering excellent antiwear, corrosion protection and antioxidant characteristics at low treatment rates of 0.6 to 0.8 % by weight. Due to its high load carrying capacity
Additin RC 9205 can be used to formulate high performance hydraulic fluids with antiwear reserve. Additin RC 9205 also exhibits good filtration properties even in the presence of water and when extremely fine filters are used.

Additin RC 9207
Additin RC 9207 is a barium- and calcium-free hydraulic fluid package offering excellent antiwear, corrosion protection and antioxidant characteristics at low treat rates. Additin RC 9216
Additin RC 9216 (M 10443) in an appropriate base oil meets the requirements according to DIN 51524, part 2 (excluding the demulsifying behaviour). Due to its good detergent/ emulsifying characteristics, Additin RC 9216 (M 10443) is used where contamination with water or water-miscible fluids is to be expected. In addition to the corrosion test demanded for hydraulic fluid specifications, hydraulic fluids containing Additin RC 9216 (M 10443) meet the requirements of the VW steel corrosion test P-VW 1425 when an appropriate base oil is used.

Additin RC 9300

Additin RC 9300 is ideally suited for use in ashless hydraulic fluids for which the following high performance demands have to be met:
- very high oxidation stability (extended service life)

- good demulsification

- excellent thermal and hydrolytic stability

Additin RC 9305

Additin RC 9307

Additin RC 9308
Additin RC 9308 is an ashless additive package with outstanding oxidation and corrosion inhibiting properties. Additin RC 9308 is particularly recommended for use in the formulation of lubricants for which high performance demands have to be met:
- high oxidation stability
- good thermal stability
- excellent hydrolytic stability
- no sludge formation
- good protection against corrosion of steel and non-ferrous metals
- excellent demulsifying behaviour
- low foaming tendency
These properties can be obtained at low treatment levels in a broad range of different base oils.  For some base oils, the addition of a defoamer may be necessary in order to meet the stringent foam limits of some industrial oil specifications. Additionally Additin RC 9308 is also ideally suited for formulating environmentally friendly lubricants, i.e. hydraulic fluids based on rapeseed oil (HETG) or synthetic esters (HEES) according to the German VDMA-Einheitsblatt 24568.
Additin RC 9308 is an ashless multifunctional oxidation and rust inhibiting additive package

Additin RC 9316
Additin RC 9316 is an ashless hydraulic fluid package with excellent hydrolytic stability. In appropriate base oils it meets the requirements of DIN 51524, part 2 (excluding demulsifying behaviour). Due to its good  detergent/emulsifying characteristics, Additin RC 9316 is used where contaminations with water or water-miscible fluids are to be expected. Additin RC 9316 exhibits excellent filtration properties in diverse static and dynamic filtration tests.
Ashless hydraulic fluid package with detergent and emulsifying properties (HLPD) according to:
- DIN 51524, part 2 (excluding the demulsifying properties)
- DaimlerChrysler specifications DBL 6721 1)

Additin RC 9320
Additin RC 9320 is an ashless additive package with outstanding oxidation and corrosion inhibiting properties. Additin RC 9320 is particularly recommended for use in the formulation of lubricants for which high performance demands have to be met:
- high oxidation stability
- good thermal stability
- excellent hydrolytic stability
- no sludge formation
- very low acid number
- good protection against corrosion of steel and non-ferrous metals
- good demulsifying behaviour
- good foam behaviour
These properties can be obtained at low treat level in a broad range of different base oils, especially in paraffinic base conventional mineral oil e.g. Group I base oils.

Additin RC 9321
Additin RC 9321 is an ashless additive package with outstanding oxidation and corrosion inhibiting properties. Additin RC 9321 is particularly recommended for use in the formulation of lubricants for which high performance demands have to be met:
- high oxidation stability
- good thermal stability
- excellent hydrolytic stability
- no sludge formation
- very low acid number
- good protection against corrosion of steel and non-ferrous metals
- good demulsifying behaviour
- good foam behaviour
These properties can be obtained at low treat level in a broad range of different base oils, especially in PAO, HC, HVI and Group II base oils.

Additin RC 9330
Additin RC 9330 is a multifunctional ashless additive package especially designed for lubricants in the food processing industry with outstanding oxidation and corrosion inhibiting properties. Additin RC 9330 is particularly recommended for use in the formulation of lubricants for which high performance demands have to be met:
- high oxidation stability
- good thermal stability
- excellent hydrolytic stability
- no sludge formation
- good protection against corrosion of steel and non-ferrous metals
- excellent demulsifying behaviour
Additin RC 9330 is ideally suited for formulating lubricants for food processing industry, i.e. hydraulic fluids based on suitable base fluids.
Additin RC 9330 is registered at NSF as an ingredient in lubricants with incidental direct food contact (HX-1) for use in and around food processing areas. NSF Registration No. 143524.
The product can be used also for lubricants in non-food applications. In this case the properties can be obtained at low treatment levels in a broad range of different base oils.
