These dry grinding pastes are mainly used together with walnut shell granulates or corn granulates in the dry grinding process. However, stock removal rates are considerably lower than with wet grinding media. The dry grinding media are mainly used for deburring workpieces with a minor amount of burring or for smoothing after wet grinding in order to prevent the orange peel effect.
