Besides their existing portfolio KRAHN CHEMIE will present new products at K 2016. This includes pearlescent pigments from Fuzhou Kuncai Fine Chemicals, titanium dioxide from Ruichem, the plasticizer OXSOFT L9TM from OXEA Chemicals and PUR prepolymers.

The anatase and rutile titanium dioxide from Ruichem have both, organic and inorganic post treatment. The characteristics are excellent dispersion, processability, opacity, weatherability and color strength. The products are especially suitable for masterbatches, PVC and polyolefins.

As to pearlescent pigments, KRAHN CHEMIE has cooperated for several years now with Fuzhou Kuncai Fine Chemicals. Setallic, Syacarb, Plovence and Kyntaline series are the latest addition to Kuncai’s innovative pearlescent effect pigment lines which show a strong luminous luster.

Also in the wide product range of plasticizers at KRAHN CHEMIE, that comprises the products from ExxonMobil Chemical, Synegis and OXEA Chemicals, there are news:

With OXSOFT L9TM, OXEA Chemicals offer an alternative to C8/10 trimellitates, which are influenced by non-availability time and again. OXSOFT L9TM is a linear trinonyl-trimellitate based on n-Nonanol, which is available in sufficient quantity. OXSOFT L9TM is applied for cable, film, tube and artificial leather and shows outstanding properties as to migration, volatility, fogging and heat resistance. Furthermore, OXSOFT L9TM has a good performance as to cold flexibility.

The latest amendments of KRAHN CHEMIE’s portfolio are the PUR prepolymers based on polyether- and polyesterpolyols as well as aromatic and aliphatic isocyanates. It is remarkable that some of the products have an excess of isocyanate groups so that the monomer proportion is less than 0.5 %. These PUR prepolymers are suitable for the production of thermosets, adhesives and sealants, elastomers and coatings.
