As of December 1, 2011 Dr. Rolf Kuropka will join KRAHN CHEMIE GmbH as Managing Director Sales & Marketing. He will succeed Dr. Jörg Schottek, who was appointed as CEO and Chairman of the Managing Board effective November 1, 2011.
Together with Axel Sebbesse, Managing Director Finance and Administration, Dr. Rolf Kuropka will be in charge for the operative management of KRAHN CHEMIE. Dr. Jörg Schottek thereby keeps the overall responsibility for KRAHN CHEMIE GmbH within the OTTO KRAHN Group. Since July this year Dr. Schottek is in addition also in charge as CEO and Chairman of the Board of KRAHN CHEMIE´s sister company ALBIS PLASTIC GmbH.
The expansion of the Managing Board reinforces the strategic realignment and development of KRAHN CHEMIE, started in 2008.

Dr. Rolf Kuropka is a doctor of chemistry and has long-standing backgrounds in Research, Sales and Marketing in the chemical industry. Most recently Dr. Kuropka was a member in the European and global management of Celanese.
