ADDITIN® AW

Additin® Antiwear (AW) additives are widely used in metal-working fluids, greases, hydraulics and a variety of other in-dustrial applications. The advantages of phosphorus additives are especially effective in medium-to low-stress boundary lu-brication situations.
Phosphorus-based products in the Additin® AW range offer a flexible chemistry for a wide variety of solutions.
- Thermal and hydrolytic stability through phosphoric acid esters
- Multifunctional effect through dithiophosphates
- Extremely high AW performance at a low dosage through amine-neutralized phosphoric acid esters
- Excellent thermal stability due to carbamates

Additin RC 3038

Additin RC 3038 is particularly suitable for use in metalworking fluids, because of its well-balanced alkyl groups and lack of odour (the latter being a result of the manufacturing process). It exhibits antiwear and mild EP performance.
Additin RC 3038 performs over a wide temperature range. In an appropriate base oil Additin RC 3038 can be combined with sulphur carriers, e.g. Additin RC 2415 for use as chlorinated paraffin replacement.

Additin RC 3180
Due to its special manufacturing process Additin RC 3180 exhibits outstanding antiwear and antioxidant properties as well as good thermal stability. It performs over a wide temperature range. For this reason, Additin RC 3180 is ideally suited for formulating a wide variety of thermally and oxidatively stable lubricants. By virtue of its chemical structure Additin RC 3180 is extremely stable against hydrolysis.
Additin RC 3180 is free of mineral oil. In combination with appropriate
emulsifiers is ideally suited for use in micro-emulsions.

Additin RC 3212
Additin RC 3212 is a very special low phosphorus / low zinc type ZnDTP with unconvential properties. Unlike standard type ZnDTP´s Additin RC 3212 contributes to low friction, improved lubricity and anti-rust performance.
Additin RC 3212 even outperforms standard type ZnDTP´s based on C3- to C8-alcohols in their EP/AW characterictics. Because of these outstanding perfomance details Additin RC 3212 is particularily suitable for the use in metal working fluids where high lubricity/low friction is required (e.g. forming oils etc.).
Additionally Additin RC 3212 may contribute to reduce the zinc and phosphorus content in ZnDTP-containing lubricants without sacrificing the wellknown ” all-round” properties of ZnDTP´s.

Additin RC 3580
Additin RC 3580 is successfully used for improving the antiwear properties and reducing the friction of numerous speciality greases.

Ashless
Additin RC 3760

Due to special raw materials Additin RC 3760 has multifunctional properties, i.e. it can be used as an antiwear, EP and anticorrosion additive.
Additin RC 3760 is ideally suited for formulating ashless lubricants of which a high load carrying capacity (FZG) is required.
Additin RC 3760 is NSF registered (Reg.-No. 127808). It is acceptable as an ingredient for use in lubricants with incidental food contact (HX-1) for use in and around food processing areas.
Additin RC 3760 is in compliance with § 178.3570 according to U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulations (lubricants with incidental food contact).

Additin R 3775
Additin RC 3775 is an ashless EP and antiwear additive for formulating industrial lubricants and metalworking fluids. By virtue of its specially selected raw materials Additin RC 3775 is ideally suited for formulating high temperature lubricants.

Additin RC 3890
Additin RC 3890 is an ashless multifunctional additive for the formulation of industrial lubricants and metalworking fluids.
FZG-Test (A 8.3/90 °C) failure load stage 12 will be achieved at a treatment level of 1% by weight Additin RC 3890 in mineral oil ISO VG 46.

Additin RC 6340
Additin RC 6340 is an ashless additive with multifunctional properties, i.e. it can be used as an EP, antiwear and antioxidant additive.
Additin RC 6340 is ideally suited for formulating heavy metal-free EP greases. Additionally, it can be used as an antiwear/antioxidant component for hydraulic fluids and industrial gear oils.
The combination of Additin RC 6340 with inactive sulphur carriers, e.g. Additin RC 2410 or zinc dithiophosphates, e.g. Additin RC 3180 and anticorrosion additives, e.g. Additin 4220 assists in achieving optimum performance of hydraulic fluids and industrial gear oils as well as EP greases.
Additin RC 6340 is registered at NSF with incidential food contact (HX-1) in and around food processing areas.

Gel – Bentonite Grease
Additin R 3775

Additin RC 3775 is an ashless EP and antiwear additive for formulating industrial lubricants and metalworking fluids. By virtue of its specially selected raw materials Additin RC 3775 is ideally suited for formulating high temperature lubricants.

Polyurea Grease
Additin RC 3038

Additin RC 3775 is an ashless EP and antiwear additive for formulating industrial lubricants and metalworking fluids. The recommended treatment levels in metalworking fluids are in the range 0.2 to 1.5 % by weight Additin RC 3775. By virtue of its specially selected raw materials Additin RC 3775 is
ideally suited for formulating high temperature lubricants. In combination with suited antioxidants and corrosion inhibitors or packages, e.g. RC 9308 and Additin RC 3775 can be used for the formulation of ashless hydraulic fluids and other industrial oil with FZG load carrying capacity.

Additin RC 3890
Additin RC 3890 is an ashless multifunctional additive for the formulation of industrial lubricants and metalworking fluids.
