    High Molecular Weight Phthalates

    The product range of high molecular weight phthalates includes plasticizers with C9 to C13 backbones. They represent just over 50 % of the European plasticizer market. The phthalates with the shorter backbones are mainly used as primary or general purpose plasticizers while the ones with longer backbones are used as secondary plasticizers for improving certain properties such as fogging values or heat resistance. Phthalates can be used in many systems such as PUR sealants, acrylate based adhesives, MS-polymers or silan terminated systems, often giving the best price - performance ratio.
