    Kaolin

    Kaolin clay, also known simply as kaolin or China clay, is a naturally occurring mineral that is commonly used as a functional additive in coatings formulations. It is derived from the mineral kaolinite, which is a type of clay mineral composed primarily of aluminum silicate. Kaolin clay is commonly used in various types of coatings, including architectural paints, industrial coatings, automotive coatings, and specialty coatings. It is available in different grades and particle sizes to suit specific application requirements.
