    Synthetic Base Fluids

    Formulators use Group IV PAO synthetic base stocks to meet growing performance demands. It provides better low-temperature properties, low volatility, and improved oxidative stability compared to mineral oil base stocks. They offer high VI for wear protection, low volatility for reduced oil consumption, low-temperature fluidity, and excellent thermal and oxidative stability for longer systemlifetime. Group V synthetic esters are used extensively in synthetic lubricants to enhance high and low temperature performance, improvide additive solubility, and increase lubrcity. They can used alone or in combination with PAOs and Group III oils to achieve a bespoke base for onward formulation.
