    Coalescing agents

    Coalescing agents are additives used in coatings to aid in the film-forming process. They help the polymer particles to soften and flow together (coalescence), forming a continuous and uniform film on the painted surface. They can also reduce the minimum film forming temperature of a resin and thus of the paint.
